Introducing Danica Favorite, Lynette Sowell, and MaryLu Tyndall

Hi Romance Readers!

Welcome!  Before I tell you a little bit about myself and offer you a chance to win COOL STUFF,

If you haven't already done so, don't forget to enter the drawing for the KINDLE VOYAGE here on our new BLOG. You'll find the form in the first blog post

Hi, I'm MaryLu Tyndall, Laurel Award and Inspirational Readers Choice Award Winning author of more than 17 Historical Romance Novels!  My best-selling Legacy of the King's Pirates series is a fan favorite, but I also have a regency, a War of 1812 Series, and a post-civil war series.

I've always written stories, but never had the confidence to seek publication, until in 2003, after writing the first book in my pirate series, I felt God leading me to get an agent.  Three months after I got representation, I had a 3 book contract!  After 15 books with that publisher, I've branched out on my own and am self-publishing. Why? Because I get to write what I want! And more importantly, what my readers want.

I grew up in South Florida where I spent most of my time on the beach, and now I live in California with my husband, 6 kids, 2 grandkids and 3 cats!  I have zero time for hobbies, but I do have this cool Reef Marine Aquarium, pictured here.

I'm giving away this really awesome Tea Set (below), along with a Free Ebook of my latest release, The Reckoning!

To be entered to win, just leave a comment on this blog, indicating what prize you would like, and I'll draw a name in 2 weeks on the 18th!
Also, if you go to my website and sign up for my newsletter, you'll be entered to win a signed paperback.  Here's my humble website .

We are so happy you are here!!! We hope you find this blog relaxing, encouraging, and fun.

Hi, I’m Danica Favorite, and my third book with Love Inspired Historical, Shotgun Marriage, will be out in April. My most recent book is The Lawman’s Redemption. Isn’t the hero dreamy? He’s even more dreamy on the inside, so check him out. My books are set in Leadville, Colorado during the silver boom of the 1880’s. I’m a mountain girl at heart, and we just bought our dream house in the mountains. Well, okay, it’s a rough start at our dream house, because it’s definitely a fixer upper. But you know, every time I feel discouraged about not living in the “perfect” house, I just look out my window and want to pinch myself, because I am living the dream and loving it! We have just over eight acres, and are starting to collect quite the menagerie of animals at our place. We’ve got chickens (I LOVE chickens), ducks (my little duckies are so cute!), geese (I tolerate them), and cats (I’m allergic, but we have a mouse problem). Eventually we’ll expand to other animals, but life at my place is pretty crazy right now. We also have visiting bears, deer, foxes, and assorted wild birds.

Seriously, it’s a little ridiculous sometimes how happy I am, and I really believe in encouraging others to find that same happiness. Yes, there are struggles, and I’m sure you’ll hear about those, but the best part of hearing about any struggle is how a person overcame it. And that’s what you’ll find my books are about. Ordinary people, living out the hard stuff, so they can get to the good stuff.  Because I believe the good stuff is available to each and every one of us.
If that sounds good to you, I hope you’ll find me elsewhere on social media. I blog (infrequently) on my website at www.danicafavorite.com, and I have lots of fun goodies there, so check it out! You can also find me on Twitter @danicafavorite, Facebook (@DanicaFavoriteAuthor), and Instagram (@DanicaFavorite).

Hi, everyone, I'm Lynette Sowell. I've written 20 titles for Barbour Publishing, Heartsong Presents, and Abingdon Press. For me, a book is like taking a trip without leaving home. I find ideas in the places I visit in contemporary life, or when I see a nugget in history that interests me.

I'm a newspaper editor by day, night, or anytime that the news breaks. It's a never-a-dull-moment kind of job and I love it. I've been a fiction writer for far longer than the five years I've been writing the news. I've always had an active imagination, too, and started writing stories when I was a kid in elementary school.

My hubby of 20 years and I live in Central Texas, close to Fort Hood, but I have roots in Massachusetts and was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We have an empty nest, except for our spoiled Texas heeler and an equally spoiled duo of cats. If I'm not working or writing fiction, I like to travel, read (my TBR pile never shrinks), try new recipes, watch movies, and I'm always up for a Texas road trip.

A Recipe for Family is my most recent release, a contemporary Christmas novella that's part of the collection, Cookies and Kisses. My heroine is one of four friends who meet up every year over the years for a Christmas cookie exchange. Who doesn't love Christmas cookies? I'm looking forward to seeing where our reading road here at Clean Romance Reads Cafe takes us.

  5. I am new to making comments on a blog . So please bear with me.
I am so thrilled to be meeting new authors and will certainly take advantage of reading your books.
Of course MaryLu is one of my most favorite authors . I love the bad boy pirates sailing on the turbulent high seas finding love and then seeing that Light and then becomes the handsome hero sailing into the sunset on calm waters. No one can fill the pages with excitement between the covers of her books like MaryLu.
I would like to read the other authors listed here and add them to my list of favorite authors.

I really am looking forward to reading Y'All. ( in my Bostonian accent). Books. Thank you for this great page. And my favorite author list keeps growing and somehow my all time favorite authors seem to be dwindling. Never off the list just being replaced by some new exciting authors
      . Bless you Danica.

  12. I love Marylu's books. I haven't read any by the other two but I'm going to put them down in my author's book. It helps me keep up with what books I have read and who the author is!

  13. I have read many of MaryLu's books and especially enjoyed the Escape to Paradise series. The other 2 authors are new to me, but I will definitely be adding some of their books to my TBR list. I also look forward to keeping up with the new blog. MaryLu - I do enjoy tea, but I think if I had to choose a prize, it would be an ebook copy of The Reckoning. Thanks!

  14. I'm a sucker for fruity tea (and MaryLu Tyndall's books)! =) Danica and Lynette are new-to-me-authors, but I hope to read from them soon.

I love the idea of having clean romance --I'm studying to be a librarian, and while I personally love Christian romance, some patrons are going to want clean stories but not necessarily a faith-based thread running through it (especially in contemporaries). Looking forward to following this blog!

  26. My sister in Christ - Tamara Leigh - sent me an email linking me to this cool website - WOW!! I feel like I've already won a prize in just subscribing to this awesome collection of authors!! I'm familiar with a few of you - Tamara Leigh (the queen of medieval romance) - MaryLu Tyndall (the queen of "arrrgggg" romance) - - but the rest of you are new to me so I've got some catching up to do and look forward to adding your books to my stuffed kindle. I see that you're a Florida girl MaryLu - as am I. But whereas you took flight to the west coast, I have remained in the Sunshine state. I would love to be entered for the tea - - nothing quite like a cup of hot tea, my rocking chair on the back porch and a good book!!
